Outfit: Trapeze Dress

10.14.2013

Absolutely adore this snakeskin print trapeze dress by Nanette Lepore. As it gets a little chilly here in New York, I can’t wait to layer it and wear it with tights and boots!

Outfit: being casual at Mana Contemporary

9.26.2013

This week I took a little trip to Jersey City in New Jersey to check out the Mana Contemporary Art Museum.  I was invited by my friend Michael, and this is the first time hearing about it, and I am glad i did!  Set in a very industrial part of Newark giving it a very artsy vibe.  Mana is almost like a little art city, not only is there many high ceiling art studios, but an art supply store, framing center, art storage and of course a cafe. With six different exhibitions it is definitely worth taking the time to venture out of the city.  Below I took some photos of my favorite pieces from the Pop Culture exhibition and Artist Carole Feuerman. This Sunday, September 29th they are hosting an opening party for the Six Exhibitions from 1-6pm.  If you live in the city there will be a free shuttle from Milk Studios starting at 12:30 pm.  For more information visit the artmanafest.com.

I fell in love with this romantic rose print dress by Juicy Couture that I ordered from ShopBop while out here in the middle of nowhere.  Modern day is great : ) I’m a huge fan of shift dress(great for hiding hips) and this is perfect for transitional weather. It is long sleeved but jersey fabric so you can breathe if it is too hot!

Enjoying life out in the prairies! Living in New York City I absolutely love the change of pace.  Such a different way of life here, and the clean air is so good for the skin! So I’ll be back in New York just in time for Fashion Week and fresh faced!

Love this lil lace number I picked up at Bergdorf’s by Nanette Lepore.  Perfect for a night out on the town.  These photos were taken right before stepping out to the Jane Hotel for a girls night out.
