Lacee Swan Christmas Village My favorite memories at Grandma’s place was this little dresser drawer full of paper treasures one including a paper village.  Every time I would visit I would pull it out and spend hours and hours playing with and my imagination would fly. I created this fun Printable Christmas Village with that memory as my inspiration to bring joy to many girls. As well as spark those little imaginations!  I imagined a little town square filled with all the places I would love to shop at during the holidays…a toy shop of course. And stationery store, craft store and all the lovely places I like to spend the Holidays like cafe’s, candy shops and bakeries!  I hand-painted them all in my watercolor signature style and turned them into these adorable cut-outs! 10 pages full with little shops and gals carrying presents and Christmas tress and all the lovely festivies of things.

I have a plethora ideas that this village could be used for. A simple fun craft for your little gem to do with scissor skills and imagination play. Have her print it out for her slumber party or craft party! It could be used on her bedroom dresser or in the living room mantle. It could be used for the kids dinner table as display but also play. And it’s not just for kids it could be great display for your little apartment. It’s even the perfect addition to a charcuterie board at your girls’ night in!  The ideas are endless!

Free Printable Fashion Weekly Planner | Lacee Swan

A well planned week is a productive week. With a busy schedule, it can be difficult to make time to plan effectively. But there are simple steps that you can take to make sure you stay on track. I love using my Weekly Planner to plan my week. By using this Weekly Planner you can plan your week with ease and style. This fashionable planner will help plan your week effectively and keep your schedule organized. Get ready to make the most of your time and say goodbye to feeling overwhelmed.

I wanted to share a few tips with you how I plan my week. I like to start by making a major list of everything I need to do. Also known as a brain dump or master list. This gets everything out of my head and then I have a running list to refer back to.

2. Then I write down 6-8 things/projects from my list that I want to focus on that week on the bottom of my weekly planner in the notes section. I prioritize what is most urgent and what will move me closer to my goals.

3. I like to write my to-do list for the next day the night before. I keep it to about six things (this can be hard). This way I will be less overwhelmed and if I finish I can always keep going on with my to-dos.

The Weekly Planner is also great for blocking your week out, meal planning, exercise plans and more!  Not only will you be more organized but your desk space will be much cuter! I created this illustration in my watercolor signature style and also made it so you can print it in your hair color + skin tone, how cute is that! Just add in your information below and I will send you this adorable printable Weekly Planner. And then your well on your way to plan your week in style!

1. What do you think the connection between fashion week and actual design is?
Runway is an opportunity for a designer to create their own unfiltered world. I am also inspired by style on the street. This is where you see people take that one piece from the shows and make it their own. I feel design is how you interpret both the runway, your own style and this street inspiration for your customer.

2. I still remember, the first magazine that made an impression on me as a kid
I felt pretty cool for ordering W magazine in junior high, I am also pretty sure that I was the only one in Grand Forks North Dakota that it was delivered to.

3. My high school years involved a lot of being a wall flower. I basically spent every hour in the Art Room that I could, it was all glass windows and felt like a fish bowl. I think that was the beginning of the feeling that the rest of the world could see my art.

4. Now I get to work with I am fortunate because I am able to pick the people I work with. I see every opportunity as a collaboration but it’s also important for me to work with people that get my aesthetic. Together we come up with something which is both unique and true to my style.

5. I have a crush on Goldie Hawn. I am currently reading her biography, and I have always have been drawn to her free spirit and one who didn’t care if a hair was out of place. She wasn’t afraid to show her silly side, and she became infectious and known because of it.

6. I now live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

7. What made you come to NYC to purse your dream? I dreamed of it since a little girl. But growing up in North Dakota I was not exposed to Fashion at all, so it took a couple of connections. and then bam I just went for it.

8. What do you think about social media ? Oversaturation or an outlet?
It used to be you went to the one party that everyone was at. now it just feels like going to a holiday party, so many to attend in one evening.

9. If you had to compare yourself to a women in the past who would it be?
it depends on my mood, does the character Mary Tyler Moore count? she has a great sense of independence, humor and style for that time. All worth envying of and hoping to be.
10. If you could leave us with one thought, what would it be?
take chances when you can. Try to be fearless as much as possible.
